We are Lillias and the Lion.
picking up a paint brush and INVITING you to join us in the space between word and Illustration.
A change maker, Lillias works and lives with her family in Glasgow; balancing art, music, unschooling with two young children and the building of a nature directed, consent based, learning community. In moments of quiet; word and imagery, stories and illustration, spark a joy which finds her with paint brush, pencil or crayon in hand and a podcast or music in ear; nestled in her studio. Lillias is currently working on her children’s picture book illustration alongside her paintings.
Lillias has a degree in music and postgrad in graphic design from London School of the Arts. It was in their legendary letterpress and screen printing studios that Lillias spent most of her time. In 2012 she cycled through Cuba researching screen printing techniques.
